TBCS FOSS SIG meets on the last Thursday of each month in the TBCS Resource Center.

 

The next FOSS-SIG meeting is May 31, 2012 at 1 pm.

 

 

The TBCS Linux SIG meets the third Monday of each month.

At our April 18th meeting I answered these Linux Mint email questions:

 

Getting a dual boot Linux Mint default to Windows. I did this by using the Startup Manager under Administrative Tools. Set Winodws to be the default and save.

 

Automatically log into Linux Mint without entering password. Also under Administrative Tools, click Login Screen. Unlock this tool and set your user name and password and save. You still need password for sudo or root operations.

 We looked at the latest beta2 release of Ubuntu with the Unity desktop.
