08/2016 Linux SIG

testdisk&photorecSomehow I managed to trash all files on a FAT32 USB memory stick,

I searched for an open source recovery tool in Linux (like they try to sell you in Windows), I found testdisk that worked well for me, I’ll install and run testdisk (photorec) at the August SIG meeting. This is a good utility to remember and it works on Mac and Windows too,

manjaroI had trouble installing the new LXLE based on Ubuntu 16.04 and will be using Manjaro xfce based on Arch Linux tonight.

Please bring something to talk about to this meeting!
